Let the fun begin

Court is over and we are proud new parents of Varvara Ann and Matvey Russell. Our first visit to see Varya on Tuesday morning was so heart warming when she came into the room she smiled and ran to me. She hugged me and layed on my shoulder for what seemed like 5 minutes. I was so glad to see she remembered us. She clearly knew who we were. The doctor said she does not even respond to the caregivers like she did with me. All I have to say Renee Tam is "LOVE WINS". They also shared with us that when we left last time she looked for us. She also started engaging with the other children after we left and they saw big changes in her development.  She is sweet as ever!!! They informed us that they keep her hair long for us for when she will go home. So here are just some photos of our visit, sorry there are not many we were stuck in  small room with only the few toys we brought. Enjoy! Oh and don't forget to scroll down for our visit with Matvey.

As for our visit with Matvey. It went well. He did not seem to remember us but he was very happy playing with us. He has gotten very strong since July. He can stand up almost on his own for a brief moment. He has grown some and even his hair has grown and it look like it will be a little wavy. He is so quite and seems shy. He study's our faces as if he is say "Mommy I have no idea what you are saying". He can crawl really well and they say he says some words but we didn't here much.

We will return either on November 1st or 8th to get the babies. I can not wait to start their new lives.

  1. Varvara's hair is SO long and so pretty and Matvey, well, he's just a sugar bug. So happy for you, friend. Your family is so beautiful, and you are such a blessing to me!
