Dear Little B this is your year

Dear Little B, I'm sending my love through this post knowing for now it is the only way you will get it. I wish I could typed it up on some beautiful stationary for someone in your orphanage to read but I can not, so for now I will put my thoughts here and hope and pray someday soon you will be able to read it.
The new year is about to begin in just a couple of days and I wish you knew what was in store for you this year. You have a family working really hard on trying to raise enough money to bring you home. I am praying this is something that will not delay even a minute of you getting out of the orphanage. Sadly enough it is something that holds back a lot of families from coming to get children who have no family. Lucky for you I am a believer. It won't be long and we (your family) can share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We will be able to share what God did for us to save us. He is an amazing God who asked me to take this journey. He asked me to invite Daddy into that decision and with the little faith I had he said "Yes". Little B there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you. I'm always wondering: what time is it there where you are, did someone make you laugh today, did you get a warm meal, is there someone who loves you and hugs you? I've gotten news lately that the kids in your orphanage are well taken care of and I'm so thankful for that. So here is a glimpse of what we have in store for you besides a BIG family waiting to love you.
Your daddy~ He is so sweet. He loves hugs. He loves the outdoors and on any given day he will take you on a walk in the woods that is just outside the doors. Don't worry if you get tired he will put you in a backpack and carry you. He will show you all sorts of things in the nature bugs, worms, snakes under our snake boards and much much more. Oh and he has tons of patients so its likely he will help you learn to ride a two wheeler. Oh, he also will hold on tight until you are ready for him to let go.
Your big sister~ She is so so special. She loves little kids and quit frankly I believe it is one of the special gifts God has given her. She is a perfectionist with the messiest room ever, but she will jump at a chance to surprise you by cleaning your room. So you will always have help. In fact you will have help with everything because she is always willing to lend a hand to anyone.
Your other Sister~ So sweet. She will love reading you stories; boy I hope I will get a chance to read to you before bed but either way we have tons of books for you. She will also show you the chickens and let you help collect eggs. When ever you can't find her she will be in the chicken coop hanging out.
Oh my! you big brother; He is full of energy and funny!! Super funny and goofy. He will make you laugh little B. He will make you forget about any sorrows. Your going to love your big brother.
Now for me little B; your mommy. I will love you unconditionally...I promise. I will love you for who you are. I will be here when you are hurt, I will be here when you need someone to be on your side. I will always be in your corner. I will make the long trip up stairs and tuck you in every night well, unless you bat those big brown eyes and ask to sleep with me. I'm a sucker for kiddos next to me at night. I will be the one who greets you with a "Good Morning" and a hug every morning.
There is one last thing you should know about your new family. The family hug. When we hug we all say "eezzz", even daddy and I say "eezzz" when we hug. Its the Plummer hug and I can't wait to give you one.
You will go to school in the fall. Although we have always homeschooled we will send you a couple of days a week so you can get some much need therapy. This will be really hard for me to send you but it will be good for you.  You will have some friends there and I am sure they will love you like we do.
We finished your room last week. Its a room every little girl deserves with fairies and flowers and all sorts of girly stuff. Also when you turn the lights off at night there are glowing stars on the ceiling. You have a doll house all set up for your little hand to play with. Your sisters filled your shelf with stuffties and dolls. Your closet is full of cloths and your dresser cabinet is full of books.
We are waiting for you. You are loved and wanted. We will continue to pray for Gods provision. We will continue to pray for people to open their hearts and be willing to help. Little B I'm not sure if anyone has ever told you about God but He is who we follow. He is who we trust. I want you to know he promised to me that there would be enough people who would love and care for you and it is them who will help bring you home. It is He who will not abandon us or you. He tells us in Hebrews 13:5 Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you."
Little B I am happy for what I have. I will not ever fail or abandon you. There is nothing I want more than what God has given me and I am ever so humbled that he has given me you. I know he will never abandon us, He will bring you home.

We love you Little B and can not wait till we hold you in our arms.
Love Mommy

As She Waits

As we wait for Christmas to come so we can spend our time with family and friends building lasting memories this is what we long for.
We pray this will be the last Christmas she spends alone.

As our sweet Little B waits for Us to come this is what waits here for her:

A grandma and cousin

one of her big sisters
Big Bro!
Her very own room to call her own

This isn't even close to the people who wait to meet and love her and this isn't even close to what is in store for her. But as you gather this holiday be thankful for who and what you have. Be thankful one of your children aren't in an orphanage alone this holiday. I tell you it is one of the saddest things to know you have a child alone just waiting for someone to come rescue them. Waiting for someone to stop making excuses of why they can't be there.
Please this holiday consider putting one less gift under the tree and help an orphan. I don't care who it is just help. No excuses! These children need saved they need someone to give them hope. Give them a family, friends and a community. If you are not called to do that then help someone who is. There are numerous families needing help not just us but many. If you want to help this holiday season you can go to Reece's Rainbow and donate, you can donate to us through our FSP http://reecesrainbow.org/sponsorplummer. It is all tax deductible, its all appreciated far beyond a Thank you. You will bless this little girl you will be part of changing her life.
Have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas.

Tis the Season...

..to be giving. I pull into countless parking lots and see the good people of salvation army ringing their bells in hope you will empty your pockets. Hoping to collect money for the needy. I do my part I gather my change and drop it in the red bucket but really is it enough? Is it enough to help the needy? I think we can all honestly answer "o, its not". Sure its enough to take the guilt away, its enough that we don't have to think about it anymore. We get to lay our heads down and sleep at night. Its not our burden, its not us in need or maybe it is and we feel "how can I help. I'm the one in need. I'm having a hard time paying my bills." My how disappointed our God must be. I won't go into all the materialistic things we "think" we need speech, you already know that talk. Nor do I want to hear how hard we work do we have the right to own such things. I just can't help thinking about all of the people truly in need and then think of all the people who truly can help. I heard of an article the other day where a reporter reported on the people who were always dressed for company. Yes, a reporter telling all of us who was ready to have the utmost important company to arrive at their door any minute. They were dressed in the highest fashion at any point in their day. Were talking about $1000 leggings!!! Now I know the average Joe isn't wearing $1000 leggings but really what has the world come to to think for one this would be important enough to even report about. And when did we begin to think we needed all this stuff. Tell you the truth it hasn't worked out real good for us. The average American is in debt up to their eye balls. Why? because we want this stuff. "WE" deserve it.
Want to know who we should be dressing for?  He is of the utmost important...God. You see recently someone in my family passed away, we weren't close but I can tell you many many loved her. Her death was unexpected, taken away by a fatal car accident. Our time is short here and God could be knocking at your door any minute. Are you dressed for Him? Have you sacrificed yourself for His will? Have you lived by His commands?

In case you have seen her before:
Meet Vika, her mommy here in America is working so hard to raise the nearly 33,000 to bring her home. Not because she wants another child to fill one of her wants, because she was called to take action. Because God asked her to step out in faith and rescue one of His earthly orphans.

Here is Brady:
He has already been transferred to an institution.

This is the shed where 20 or so boys get locked into to sit, or moan or rock. This is where Brady is. Fortunately for Brady his daddy and mommy heard the call. They know what they need to do and they are walking in obedience. Today Brady has a family working hard to get him out. Praise God!

This is how the boys in his institution use the bathroom. Not because no one cares but because there is no running water. Who do you think cleans these? You don't want to guess, its the boys capable of doing it. Not good enough to be in society but they could work in the institutions. Tis the Season ah?

This sweet boy I still can't stop thinking about. I'm still asking God why he has laid him on my heart. Is he suppose to be ours? Right now I just can't see raising another 12k on top of the near 18k we still need to raise to bring our little B home. Can I post enough times to get everyone to help? Can I say the right thing or post the right words? I'm really beginning to understand it is not me who can change the heart of others. There is only one who can do that and I need to give that to Him. I am desperately trying to save these children.

There are many faces on Reece's Rainbow that show what a true need is. A need is Family, a mommy, a daddy, sisters, brother, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.  Its medical care that is needed in order to survive. Unfortunately in their country doctors don't see any real value in them to even try and help. Can you imagine not even being worthy of medical treatment. Can you imagine taking your child to the doctor and them say that he/she is not worthy enough for them to help? I know your saying but what can I do? How can I help? Or that's not my business they are a world away. I say to you that they are children just like ours. They want to be safe and loved just like ours. I know most of you reading this have been following my blog for a while an completely agree. I know I am preaching to the choir some what. Part of me is probably looking for the right thing to say to convince you to help.

God is not here on earth except through you and me. Our hands are His hands, our feet our His feet if our heart is not beating for these orphans His is not.

This Season begin your journey of becoming His Hands and Feet and I do mean that literally. Sacrifice your wants for a child's needs.
Need to know how to do that? Need to know where to start? Start here and help an orphan you will never find a "want" more important than her needs. http://reecesrainbow.org/sponsorplumme
Sounds like a challenge ah? Take it how ever you want.
If your here and reading this your eyes have been opened. Do you know what that means? Proverbs 24:12

Our Daughter is far away.

This man spoke the word of my hearts and they are to you.

I WILL

Unexpectedly

I acutally had this post done a few weeks ago but blogger had a glich I couldn't upload photos. Finally I can. Enjoy!
These two little ones were an unexpected blessing to us today. I no longer try and figure out who God will send us along this journey. Today He sent us these two. Along with the help from their mommy they pulled together 81 candy bars (free with coupons) and sold them to the bowling league. $1+81 candybars= $81 to help bring one little girl home. Absolutly priceless. I believe we do not have to teach our children to be like Jesus, we only have to nurture what He has already givin them and in the process try not to destroy it. "Thank you for teaching me today."

"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:10
