Life's a Journey.... here's a glimpse of ours.

This is the point that  I say "hind sight is 20/20". From the very beginning I just couldn't even imagine what God had in mind. I can never guess what He has planned. Yes, I know it is all good and perfect. I believe He will always be glorified. We are nearly halfway there. Do you see the thermometer at the top. It's almost half way there. If you only new the heaviness of my heart. The weight is lifting. If you only knew how often this weight brought me before God begging for his grace. The amazing thing is, that He knows how it will all end. He knows the path we will take. How amazing is he who knows my hearts desires? He has placed the love of this child in me and through Him it will not be in vein.
Can you see the miracle? Do you know we started at zero! Zero dollars! He has place sooooo many people in our lives that have played a significant part in our journey so far. I am sooooo humbled by your selflessness and so thankful for your generosity. I'm not sure I will ever be able to thank any of you enough. You have helped rescue a child. A child who would be institutionalized within the next year; where she would lay day after day not even knowing what could have been.
Our little B doesn't know we have a room all ready for her. We have chosen her very first blanket, her very first baby doll. She doesn't know we have chosen her name. She doesn't know she has  two big sisters and a big brother who waits to teach her how to play. Our little B has a family who is over joyed to welcome her home. But she will. She will know we love her from the moment we see her. She will see and feel love that she doesn't even know about.
Until this happens we still need encouragement, prayers, and support.  I need ideas to raise the next 17,000. I need people to know our story. If you have not read the post "Help for Hope" please do so. You may not be the one to help financially but you may know someone who can, who is able and willing. I have said it before and I believe that God has an invite for every person who is to join our journey. They are all dated with a certain time and place, and I also believe His timing is perfect and with out fault. So I leave you with one last thought......did you get an invite, did you mark your calendar. If not look out for it. If this story has touched you in any way I believe he has one for you. It will take a village to bring our little B home.

I wanted to take a moment for "Praises" and "Thank yous". I realized this morning as I was pondering what to write about, that because of you my job as a parent has become a little easier over the past few months. Why? For the simple reason that the very first thing God  taught me, you have taught my children. The very first lesson I was taught is "Life is not about me. It is about serving others" He tells us in Matthew 25:40  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’  Jesus is the one I choose to serve. It is my number one goal in life is to teach my children to serve Christ. No matter what the cost, stand up and serve their King. It is all of you who show this to them daily. Thank you and please know I pray for you daily. I will be giving thanks for you this coming Thanks Giving and for many more. God has invited people into our journey and everyday He reminds me there are still people who remain on the guest list. He tells me their time has not come yet. "Oh, they are still invited. I haven't got the time or date wrong."
So as those words play in my head please pray about your time. Pray about your time in this journey. Don't miss it because this journey is leading us to a beautiful little girl who needs us all. She needs us all to RSVP, ASAP.

I'm not a big TV watcher not because I don't want to be, I just don't have time. I have written before about little Vika who is in the same orphanage as our little B and we both are posting this to our blogs. We are both praying for help from Ellen DeGeneres. She is having a giveaway/wants to support someone that is doing something exceptional/amazing.. I don't feel I am doing something amazing; just for someone amazing; someone who has chosen us... and there are so many people out there who were asked to the same. Vika's mommy and our family are just two of those families doing  service for Jesus. We are both in need of help from people within the community.
Why do we need help? Why am I asking something of you to help me? Well for the plain fact that God told me at the begining of this journey I would have to. To be quite honest I'm not good about asking for help maybe its the stubbornness in me no..... really its the lack of Trust I have in God. But I am learning this lesson and I'm learning it well. Please take the time to help us it is only a small job, you don't have to leave the comfort of your home (we will do that when we head to Russia), you don't have to empty your savings (were doing that), you don't have to change a thing in your life just give us your words, Give Ellen your words. We have 17,000 to raise and this could very well be the answer to our prayers. We have a short time before we need all of the mone;y a short time before we will hold our daughter and give her a forever family.

Been waiting patiently for so much and honestly I just keep thinking its all in "His timing". These past three weeks I waited patiently while my social worker just kept ignoring my emails. I waited patiently to receive our certificate stating Jason and I took an online adoption course. I waited patiently for our FBI and state clearances to come through. The results are astounding!!!! All I can say is "All in his timing. Ecc 3:11 God makes everything happen at the right time. Yet none of us can ever fully understand all he has done, and he puts questions in our minds about the past and the future.

Took my SW four emails and one phone call to finally answer my question about certain things (rather not post on my public blog) and she just acted like I already knew the answer. Little did she know I was checking my emails ever hour waiting for her answer.....for two WEEKS!

The certificate????? Have no idea where that is.

Oh! an our clearances the ones we have to have done to finish our home study, the only thing we need, well those haven't even happened yet!!!! I sent those out three weeks ago to Lansing only to get them in the mail stamped "no such address". Yep, I put the wrong address and it took our post office THREE WEEKs to get the little white envelope back to us for us to turn around and send it back and wait at least another 2-3 weeks for those clearances. UGH!!!

So all I can say is "All in His timing", I have to believe it is perfect. I do trust it is.

So how do you like the new look? I promise it will contain the same ingredients truth, honesty, and passion.  I am so excited just thinking we will probably be traveling in the next eight weeks. It is almost a little over whelming to think about. So as you will be counting down the days till Christmas; we will be counting down the days when we meet our daughter and whisper in her ear she is an orphan no more. We will get to tell her she has a mommy and daddy who will love her always. So as this holiday season "comes" please before it "goes" remember us in your prayers. Remember there are many more orphans who need a family, many more who need someone to love them. Here are a few photos of the sweet babes that need you to step up and help them. I'm sure you don't need me to remind you that God calls us to care for the orphans; it is pure religion.
